Margaret Gladstone

Margaret Gladstone has served as member of the 4-H Foundation board since 2015. Margaret lives in Bradford, VT with her husband, Walt. Walt and Margaret own and operate Newmont Farm, LLC and have three sons, Will, John, and Matt. Will is an integral partner of Newmont Farm, LLC and is married to Brooke and they have 3 daughters. John owns his own trucking business. Matt, the youngest, recently became a partner in the business and is married to Marie and they have a son. Newmont Farm, LLC currently is milking 1,450 cows and grows over 200 acres of pumpkins that are wholesaled locally and across New England. Walt and Margaret have become active breeders in the Morgan Horse industry, breeding high quality Morgans to serve local and national markets. Margaret was actively involved in 4-H and Newmont Farm; LLC has supported local 4-H clubs throughout the years.

Lynn H. Lang

Lynn came to the foundation as a representative of Ag Enterprises and has
been a longstanding committed member since 2000. He served in the US Navy
from 1961-65 and then worked at IBM in Essex for 33 years. He has been
actively involved in the VT Beekeepers Association, VT Maple
Sugarmakers Association including serving on the board of directors from
2005-2010, Chittenden County Sugarmakers including serving on the board
of directors from 1996-2010, past Maple/Honey CVE Superintendent, and a
member of the VT Farm Show board of directors.

 

He continues to be involved with Shelburne Museum as a guide as
Blacksmith, Weaver, Settler and at the Ticonderoga. The foundation is
grateful to Lynn for his involvement and oversight. The trustees look
forward to his beekeeping stories while Lynn enjoys the 4-H stories.

Stefanie Pigeon

Stefanie has served on the Foundation for two decades.  She is a past 4-Her who believes that her experience in 4-H has had an extremely positive impact on her business acumen.  She believes in giving back to a program that shaped much of her childhood and enjoys being involved in fostering the development of our youth.  Aside from 4-H, she serves on the Opportunities Credit Union advisory committee, is a strong supporter of Rotary International and serves on the advisory council for Nextgen Benefits.

Stefanie leads the pack at Affiliated Associates, located in Essex, VT, with a focus on capturing solutions that meet the needs of a diverse group of clients. She strives to simplify the complexities of insurance planning while delivering meaningful value to businesses and employees; ultimately producing financial health and personal wellness for clients.  She is actively involved in the management of Affiliated Associates and Healthy Dollars, Inc.

Marilyn Thomas

Marilyn was born and raised in Vermont, and is married with three children.

She graduated from the University of Vermont College of Agriculture with a degree in Home Economics Education with a minor in Extension Education.

She is committed to the youth in her community, holding leadership roles locally and regionally for United States Pony Club, as well as attending the American Youth Council conference as a 4-H representative.

Marilyn values our youth and supports the goals of the foundation to give opportunities to all 4-H members.

Lee White

Lee A. White, CPA, PFS, CFP is the managing CPA of Lee A. White and Associates and has been providing accounting and auditing services since 1978. Mr. White passed all four parts of the CPA test on his first attempt in November of 1982 and was officially licensed by the State of Vermont as a CPA on March 23, 1984. Mr. White was licensed as a Certified Financial Planner and a Personal Financial Specialist in 1995.


Mr. White's work experience includes four years, 1979- 1982, spent auditing with the Auditor of Accounts Office. Two years, 1982 - 1984, were spent with a small, local firm in Barre, VT which specialized in taxes and write-up work. Additional experience was obtained by working for a larger firm of about 20 in Burlington, VT from 1984 - 1985. That firm specialized in audits of local governments, schools, other non-profits, and profit organizations. The next five years were spent with Urbach, Kahn, & Werlin, a CPA firm based out of Albany, NY but located in Burlington, VT who, at the time, was one of the 25 largest accounting firms in the country. His level of concentration was primarily in auditing with his specialty being non-profits.
